Branded Content Goes Post Modern
Will Ferrell's new movie Semi-Pro, introduces us to Jackie Moon, a 70's basketball star. In a stroke of post modern genius the producers give branded content a refreshing and amusing twist. It began with this Bud spot in the Superbowl and then these 8 spots for P&G's Old Spice Pro Strength antiperspirant where he signs off with end lines like "The finest street-legal antiperspirant you can get outside of Mexico that's not poisonous" and "Don't smell like a turtle cage" Great stuff.
